Dr. Syed graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi. He completed a psychiatric residency at Baqai Medical College Hospital, Karachi, and another at Delaware Psychiatric Center, New Castle, Delaware. Dr. Syed completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland.
