Jenna Walmer

Jenna graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in marketing and joined the Martin Communications team in June 2024. She brings experience from marketing internships with two international brands, where she built numerous digital media campaigns and learned skills in media management.

In her current role within the media department, she develops and manages media campaigns across a variety of digital platforms. She also provides campaign reporting, which ensures their success and optimization. She loves learning about the newest features in various digital platforms, so she can help our clients exceed their marketing goals.

Noah Templin

Noah joined the Martin Communications team in early 2024. He holds a double major in Marketing and Management from Shippensburg University. Prior to joining our team, Noah gained experience in the logistics industry, managing a nationwide team. His professional path also includes experience in the field of events and entertainment.

In his current role as Account Coordinator, Noah plays a crucial role in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with our clients. He collaborates with our creative and design team to develop comprehensive brand messages and with our media department in targeting appropriate audiences with that messaging .   His unique insights and knowledge significantly contribute to our elevated client services.

Gwen Almeida

Gwen began college with a nursing degree in mind. Yet, her passion for design caused her to switch majors and ultimately her career path. Graduating from Harrisburg Area Community College with a degree in graphic and interactive design and completing a graphic design internship with a small interior design company, she joined the Martin Communications team in October of 2023.

Since then, Gwen continues to use her education and experience as a graphic designer along with a wide-reaching set of skills and a fresh perspective to advance the Martin design team’s performance. Gwen loves being a part of bringing ideas to life for Martin Communications clients.

Ben Mengle

Ben joined the Martin Communications team in 2021 after working in a variety of industries honing a unique set of skills. For more than a decade, he has gained valuable knowledge in design, developing processes, and building client relationships. Ben arrived at Martin as the Project Coordinator, then moved into the Project Manager role, where he balanced the workload for the accounts and design departments to ensure quality and timeliness of each project.

Now in the role of Account Director, Ben brings a wealth of experience with skills in delivering exceptional guidance to our clients. He believes communication is the key to maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect from Martin. Each client deserves special attention, and that is what Ben sets out to deliver.

Tom Martin

With a career in advertising spanning four decades, I established Martin Communications, Inc., in 1993 to provide clients with marketing, advertising and media strategy/buying services based on a simple premise of faster, better and more cost effective than competitors.

The spare bedroom, three-legged kitchen table headquarters launched a business whose on-going success with an ever-increasing staff is the result of long-standing, valued relationships with both clients and those who provide us with subcontracted services.

Michael Keesee

Michael joined Martin Communications in late 2019 to lead the design team. Coming from his role as Associate Creative Director for a multiregional corporation, he takes pride in applying knowledge gained from his in-house marketing and design experience to the creative we produce for our partners.

After earning an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of York in 2007, Michael has expanded his creative skillset to include hand lettering, brand strategy, web development, photography, and videography. His strengths include art direction, design thinking, and creating on-brand, audience-appropriate creative.

Barb Martin

Joining Martin Communications in August 2001 as a part-time office assistant, Barb’s high attention to detail, accuracy, and creative problem solving created a natural path to greater responsibilities. Her expanded involvement moved her into client services, then to media buyer, and to her current role as President. Our clients’ reliance on her for responsiveness and organization elevated her to an account executive position for two of the agency’s largest clients. Additionally, she serves as the agency’s CFO.

Colleen Jones

Colleen Jones joined Martin Communications in 2016 after a decade in events management for regional publications in south central Pennsylvania and experience with a nonprofit arts organization in Harrisburg. As Media Director at Martin, Colleen leads client paid and earned media strategy leveraging all current platforms, including traditional and emerging (social, digital, SEM), to accomplish key performance goals; she also oversees media buying and analyzes performance data for client campaigns. Colleen has a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University.

Lindsay Aucker

Lindsay joined the Martin Communications team at the end of November 2016 as a part-time graphic designer. After demonstrating her hard work, design skills, and dedication to meeting the demands of the position, she was invited to become a full-time graphic designer in December 2016. She graduated from Kutztown University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education. She then continued her education and received an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of York in March 2015.

Lindsay takes immense pride in the work that she creates. Her goal is to always deliver an effective, focused, and on-target product that fits our client’s needs. Lindsay is an active member of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts).

Emily Marrs

Graduating from Shippensburg University in 2014 with a degree in Mid-Level Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics and Science, Emily worked part-time at Martin Communications before accepting her full-time position in August 2016. Her duties have expanded to include accounts payable and receivable, maintaining client budgets, payroll, and managing our retirement plan payments, to name a few.

Her customer service experience was developed while working four summers at Hersheypark to help pay her college expenses. Here, she was recognized twice as an Outstanding Employee and received two promotions. Before joining Martin, she was a preschool teacher honing skills of organization, teamwork, patience, communication, and leadership. These skills were utilized while she created our current training program for new employees.
