CAPSTONE Program / First Episode Psychosis

CAPSTONE is a program designed to provide comprehensive treatment and support for young adults ages 16-30 experiencing early psychosis.  CAPSTONE is the collaborative effort of three (3) agencies: Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (PPI), CMU (Case Management Unit) and YWCA of Greater Harrisburg.

Who is CAPSTONE for?

  • Current residents of Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties
  • Young adults between the ages of 16-30
  • Persons experiencing their first episode of psychosis
  • Individuals and families willing to participate in services

Who are we? Meet the CAPSTONE team:

  • PPI is a multi-faceted treatment provider in Central Pennsylvania and will provide Team Leadership, psychiatric services, and clinical treatment including Individual Resiliency Training (IRT), and family education services.
  • CMU is a case management agency responsible for case management and peer support services to persons enrolled in CAPSTONE.
  • YWCA of Greater Harrisburg is a community agency with a diverse service array and will provide supported employment and education.
