Who this program treats
The program is ideal as a step-up from outpatient services or a step-down from inpatient treatment. This program is typically for children and adolescents who have acute cases of mental illness or psychiatric disorders. Children and adolescents eligible for this program may exhibit difficulty functioning at home or at school and have psychotic symptoms.
Services this program offers
Services offered through the Child & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Psychiatric Program include:
- Sessions with a psychiatrist
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Psycho-educational groups (ex: stress management)
- Up to 1-1/2 hours each day of school taught by a certified teacher
Patients receiving treatment through this program have an average stay of 12-14 days. The Partial Hospitalization Psychiatric Program is a clinically-based comprehensive program that includes a discharge planning meeting and connecting the patient with community services. The family of the patient is included throughout the child or adolescent’s program.

After your information has been received
We will contact you to discuss scheduling an assessment with our psychiatrist. At that appointment, we ask you to bring the following items:
- Insurance card(s)
- Parent identification (driver’s license)
- All current prescription medication in original bottles
- Copy of Individualized Education Plan (if applicable)
