Contact our admissions department

Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (PPI) provides behavioral health services to the residents of Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We create specialized mental health treatment programs for children and adolescents, adults and mature adults so the unique needs of each group can be addressed separately.

PPI treats all forms of mental health disorders at our main psychiatric hospital on Third Street in Harrisburg, PA. We also provide outpatient mental health services for adults at our Division Street clinic and outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment for children, adolescents and teens at our Third Street clinic.

Adult Programs

Inpatient, Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs designed to treat all forms of mental illness, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder and addiction.

Offering treatment for children, adolescents and teens with emotional, social or behavioral difficulties, including Autism, ADD, ADHD, bipolar and mood disorders.

Mature Adult Programs

Addressing the unique issues that affect mature adults (55 and older). All psychiatric disorders including Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease can be treated on an inpatient and outpatient basis, depending on need.
