At Hospice of Central PA (HCP) our mission is clear; to provide the highest quality of emotional, physical and spiritual support with compassion and respect. Quality is always on our minds. In keeping with regulations and best practices, HCP measures the quality of our programs through third-party administered caregiver surveys. The agency we have engaged for this purpose is called Deyta Analytics HEALTHCAREfirst.<\/p>\n

Deyta Analytics HEALTHCAREfirst also administers the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey which asks family members to report on and evaluate their experiences with HCP.<\/p>\n

Medicare provides a website called Hospice Compare<\/a> where you can find hospices that serve your area, and compare them based on the quality of care they provide. This is the link to the Hospice Compare site where you can review hospice quality scores, and compare them to any other hospice in your area.<\/p>\n

The link below will direct you right to Hospice of Central PA\u2019s Hospice Compare page. The timeframe for the quality scores is listed on the site, and is updated quarterly. On this page you can review family caregiver survey results and the quality of patient care, and compare HCP\u2019s scores to the national average. Higher percentages are better.<\/p>\n
